Case Study: Square Enix achieves faster contract throughput and eliminates 'time stealers' with Contracts 365

A Contracts 365 Case Study

Preview of the Square Enix Case Study

Square Enix speeds contract throughput while zeroing in on the “time stealers.”

Square Enix, a leading video game publisher, needed to move off a burdensome contract system and dramatically increase throughput for high-volume agreements (NDAs, Work Orders, MSAs) while preserving capacity for complex licensing reviews. The team required a configurable, easy-to-use contract lifecycle management solution that supported Microsoft 365, granular reporting to find “time stealers,” e-signatures, and multi-level approval workflows — needs that led them to Contracts 365.

Contracts 365 implemented its Microsoft 365‑native contract lifecycle management software with a self-configurable interface that cut navigation to “one or two clicks,” enabled rapid user adoption with minimal training, and automated reporting (weekly reports showing contracts closed and workload per person). The collaboration during rollout improved visibility across the contract lifecycle, better monitoring of department workloads, faster turnaround on requests, and clear metrics to identify and eliminate bottlenecks — delivering the improved efficiency and transparency Square Enix sought.
