BT Improves Business-Critical Contract Management Processes

BT Americas, the U.S. arm of global telecom BT, faced fragmented contract lifecycle management with information spread across disparate back-end systems and many manual, repetitive processes that increased contract risk and financial exposure. To tackle this, Contracts 365 implemented the Contract Management Business App for SharePoint (CM[.app]) to aggregate contract data and streamline CLM workflows.

Contracts 365 integrated CM[.app] with BT’s line-of-business systems using Business Connectivity Services, web services and SSRS to connect Oracle Financials and data warehouses, and delivered a centralized SharePoint dashboard. The solution gave BT Americas real-time visibility into contracts, automated risk and opportunity identification and reporting, reduced manual effort, and improved decision-making — lowering contract-related financial exposure.
