InterGen Launches new market-leading Energy Trading and Risk Management System

InterGen, a global independent power producer, needed a modern Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system to improve trading, monitoring, reporting, and portfolio optimization across its UK power assets. To meet this challenge, InterGen selected **Contigo Software** after a thorough evaluation process, working with Contigo and Baringa Partners to design a solution that would support both current operations and future growth.

**Contigo Software** implemented the fully hosted **enTrader®** ETRM platform in a 10-month joint project, delivering a front-to-back office solution with real-time position management, regulatory reporting, and improved usability. The system went live successfully on 29 June 2019 and now supports InterGen’s three combined cycle gas plants totaling 2,560MW, while also being flexible enough to incorporate additional UK assets such as its 300MW OCGT plant in Spalding.
