Ecotricity moves to Contigo’s enTrader for ETRM Solution

Ecotricity, the world’s first green electricity company, needed a more flexible energy trading solution as its business rapidly expanded, customer numbers more than doubled, and its trading relationships grew. Its existing ETRM system was holding it back and forcing the team to find workarounds, so it turned to Contigo Software and its enTrader ETRM platform, along with the enVoy communications framework.

Contigo Software implemented enTrader and enVoy to provide a modern, fully integrated setup for energy trading and market data communications. The solution gave Ecotricity more flexibility to add functionality and manage changes in-house, with logically stored SQL data making reporting easier; implementation was completed in six months, including fast spreadsheet-based data migration.
