The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (PA Cyber), a statewide online K‑12 school that issues each student a take‑home computer, faced rapid enrollment growth (about 1,200 new students that year) and needed to monitor and filter Internet activity across roughly 4,600 student machines to prevent exposure to pornography and other objectionable content while maintaining educational productivity.
