Sky empowers content creators with the Sky Websites platform powered by Contentstack

Sky, the European media and entertainment company, wanted a faster, more flexible way to build, update, and edit websites across the business without relying heavily on IT. Using Contentstack’s headless content management platform, Sky needed to replace hard-coded page layouts that made website rebranding and updates slow, costly, and difficult for editors.

Contentstack helped Sky launch Sky Websites using modular blocks, content types, and a custom stack management tool, enabling non-technical editors to create and manage branded sites through drag-and-drop components. The results were significant: website build time dropped from two months to two days, page edits fell from three days to about 20 minutes, and development time per page was reduced from 3–5 days to under an hour, with Sky now supporting 10 websites and counting.
