Burberry chooses headless CMS to enable speed and agility

Burberry, the British luxury fashion house, needed a more agile way to support its extensive digital transformation across multiple platforms, languages, and regions. Its legacy monolithic content management and e-commerce setup was slowing time to market and making it harder to deliver high-quality brand experiences at scale, so Burberry turned to Contentstack’s headless CMS as part of a MACH-based strategy.

Contentstack implemented a composable, headless CMS with integrations to Burberry’s translation and commerce tools, helping teams create, preview, and publish content faster with reusable components and live preview. As a result, Burberry reduced developer tickets from more than 40 per week to fewer than one, increased translation speed by 80%, and accelerated publishing and localization across global websites in up to 50 languages.
