Ecosa, an Australian online retailer of mattresses, pillows, bedding and bedroom furniture, needed a better way to understand how customers were using its mobile and desktop channels so it could improve the online experience and boost conversions. The company turned to Contentsquare to support its constant experimentation and uncover where user experience changes could have the biggest impact.
Using Contentsquare’s insights, Ecosa tested changes to its mobile product pages and empty cart page, including moving product thumbnails off the hero image and adding high-converting category pages to the cart page. The winning layouts drove measurable gains, including a +71.57% increase in conversion rates overall and a +6.4% conversion lift on the empty cart test, and the changes were rolled out across product pages and images.
