As the city’s main source of information, the site needed stronger user insights so the communications team could optimize content, improve UX design, and move from intuition-based choices to data-driven decisions.

Using Contentsquare, the City of Paris identified friction points across user journeys and optimized a Paris 2024 Olympics landing page with Heatmaps. The team saw a 20.5% attractiveness rate on the map section, moved it higher on the page, and achieved higher click recurrence and better page performance, along with a decrease in calls to the dedicated event phone line.
