The City of Paris turned to Contentsquare’s Experience Intelligence platform to better understand how visitors were navigating its website and engaging with content. As the city’s main source of information, the site needed stronger user insights so the communications team could optimize content, improve UX design, and move from intuition-based choices to data-driven decisions.
Using Contentsquare, the City of Paris identified friction points across user journeys and optimized a Paris 2024 Olympics landing page with Heatmaps. The team saw a 20.5% attractiveness rate on the map section, moved it higher on the page, and achieved higher click recurrence and better page performance, along with a decrease in calls to the dedicated event phone line.
