Calzedonia, the Italian fashion group behind brands like Falconeri, was spending significant time and money maintaining homepage widgets that needed weekly updates and troubleshooting. The team used Contentsquare to analyze widget performance, but found that some homepage content was not engaging visitors and was creating unnecessary maintenance work.
Using Contentsquare’s Heatmaps and behavior metrics, Calzedonia identified two underperforming homepage widgets and ran an A/B test to remove them. The change reduced manual work by 14 hours per week, saved 2 hours of error handling weekly, removed 5–6 bugs per week, and is projected to save €20K per year, while freeing the team to focus on higher-value activities.
