Weber Shandwick Leverages Contently to Provide Key F500 Clients Content Marketing at Scale

Weber Shandwick launched Mediaco in March 2013 to help major brands become publishers, but needed a scalable editorial workforce and robust content tools to meet the needs of Fortune 500 clients like GM, Ricoh, Unilever and Novartis. The challenge was finding and managing top-tier talent and workflows to deliver high-volume, brand-specific content at scale.

Working with Contently, Weber Shandwick used a purpose-built editorial platform and access to a network of 50,000+ journalists to staff a digital newsroom. The partnership produced 100+ contributing writers, powered eight client programs in 2013–2014, and delivered more than 1,100 articles in 2014, establishing an ongoing collaboration to advance editorial operations.
