HouseLogic, the National Association of Realtors’ digital content hub, had grown to 1.5 million monthly unique visitors by September 2015 but wanted to move beyond traffic and deepen engagement with its audience.
They partnered with Contently to revamp content strategy, commissioning 38 new freelancer-written stories and A/B testing them against 38 top older pieces across Facebook and email (headlines optimized via Outbrain). Over six months the Contently content outperformed the originals: shares +66%, unique readers +14%, attention time +6%, finish rate up from 61% to 71%, and the 25–34 millennial audience grew 10%, giving HouseLogic stronger engagement analytics and a more deeply engaged audience.
