Cornell Tech is a graduate school launched in 2011 that blends technology, business, and creative thinking to accelerate applied-science innovation—home to student projects like Palette, a tongue-controlled device for people with quadriplegia. Its marketing team’s challenge was turning these technical achievements and research into compelling stories that drive applications and position the campus as a leader in innovation.
Cornell Tech partnered with Contently for content strategy, a creative talent network, a managing editor, and a publishing platform, then built an editorial calendar guided by audience personas and brand pillars. The program scaled output and quality, and Contently’s distribution drove more than 24,000 visitors to optimized articles in four months, with readers engaging for an average of about 2 minutes 24 seconds.
