Scotiabank, a leading Canadian bank, set out in 2018 to expand its Advice+ Centre into a robust financial literacy hub that would deliver long-form, on-brand, conversational content Canadians care about. After seeing Contently’s work with sister brand Tangerine, the bank sought a creative partner to help produce high-quality articles at scale while managing growing editorial demands.

Scotiabank partnered with Contently’s freelance network and appointed a dedicated Managing Editor, Darci Swisher, plus an art director for graphics and social, to act as an extension of the team. That collaboration enabled faster, higher-quality content production with fewer revisions, created a well-rounded financial literacy hub, and drove month-over-month improvements in organic search and overall organic traffic.
