Nike and demodern utilize Contentful to deploy content on large interactive screens in stores

Demodern, an independent digital design agency, worked with Nike on a large multi-touch in-store application that needed to display rich, location-specific content across flagship retail screens. The challenge was finding a way for Nike’s team to independently manage and update text, video, images, and event information for different stores without building and maintaining a custom backend.

Demodern implemented Contentful’s content management platform and APIs to power the app, integrating it with Adobe AIR and enabling editors to update content through a web-based interface. With Contentful, the team produced a working prototype in just 2–3 days, saved several weeks of development time, and enabled instant content updates across the in-store touchscreens, creating a more dynamic interactive experience for shoppers.
