Chobani, the maker of America’s No. 1-selling Greek yogurt with production facilities in New York, Idaho and Australia and more than 2,000 employees, was growing rapidly while maintaining a “small craft company” mindset. Its IT team ran an in-house service desk during business hours, but after-hours incidents were pushed to on-call Level II/III engineers, creating coverage gaps and leaving engineers little time for strategic projects.

In July 2016 Chobani partnered with Contegix to provide off-shift service desk support, building a transparent knowledge base and delivering regular reporting. Within a year the relationship expanded to a full 24/7 service desk; after-hours incidents were resolved more efficiently, engineers regained time for strategic work, and the IT organization became more efficient and better able to support Chobani’s fast-paced growth.
