A Contactlab Case Study
UNHCR Italia partnered with Contactlab to better understand a large and complex donor database and improve donor engagement, involvement, and donations. The challenge was to analyze behavioural and marketing data, define the next steps for the contact plan, and build a more personalized digital communication strategy to support refugees.
Contactlab implemented a qualitative and quantitative data analysis, normalized and segmented the donor and prospect database, and created an advanced digital communication plan based on behavioral clusters. The work helped UNHCR improve understanding of the donor journey and the impact of digital contactability, while driving measurable results such as 72% of donations coming from digitally contactable users, 54% of one-off donations influenced by emails, 15% directly generated by emails, and a 63% higher average donation from email clickers versus non-receivers.
