HBC-Radiomatic, a global manufacturer of industrial radio controls, faced challenges with its fragmented IT systems, which slowed down its global customer service. Data was spread across various legacy systems, making it difficult for technicians to access necessary documents quickly. To provide better lifecycle support for its products, the company partnered with CONTACT Software to implement a new PLM solution.

CONTACT Software implemented its CIM Database and CONTACT Elements platform to create a central service portal. This solution integrated with HBC’s ERP system, giving service partners external access to product data without direct network access. The results included a 60% faster document creation process, ensured digital twins were always up to date, and created a continuous information flow. CONTACT Software's solution also positioned HBC to replace additional legacy systems in the future.
