Dubai deploys 19 RTU panels and 3 PPC panels with Consyst for solar PV control

The city of Dubai required a reliable monitoring and control system for multiple distributed solar PV sites as part of its D33 initiative. The challenge involved integrating diverse field equipment, enabling coordinated power control to prevent grid export, and establishing a secure interface with the utility's SCADA system. Consyst was engaged to design and supply the necessary control infrastructure.

Consyst implemented a multi-site solution using RTU and PPC panels to provide centralized plant-level control. The system enabled intelligent zero-export operation, reactive power management, and full integration with the utility SCADA. The result was a standardized and reliable monitoring and control architecture across all three sites, ensuring the PV generation aligned with the operational requirements of the D33 initiative.
