Homes by West Bay launched in 2009 as a luxury homebuilder and quickly outgrew its lean startup processes, relying on paper, QuickBooks and Excel which limited further growth. Constellation HomeBuilder Systems implemented NEWSTAR starting with accounting and purchasing and expanded to the full Enterprise suite—sales, production, scheduling, design studio and warranty—giving Homes by West Bay real‑time information, a vendor portal and mobile scheduling. Measurable impacts include a master production plan covering 27 communities and 56 models, a reduction in design‑studio appointments from eight hours to two, faster warranty resolution, and the operational scale to build 40–50 homes per month while pursuing a 2017 goal of 450 homes, all improving customer experience.
