Consilio LLC worked with a leading UK-based law firm whose client, a UK bank, suspected an employee of fraudulently lending money and then deleting emails to conceal the activity. The law firm needed the custodian’s emails processed and hosted in Relativity for a banking litigation matter, using eDiscovery services.

Consilio LLC analyzed two years of email data spread across 24 monthly backup tapes and created custom Relativity fields to search, report on, and track when emails were deleted. By identifying the last backup where each email appeared, Consilio LLC uncovered a pattern of deletion activity, including an earlier deletion spike the client had not previously detected.
