BWT Holdings, LLLP, the Jackson, MN row‑crop operation founded by Brad and Meg Freking, farms about 16,000 acres across four states with 15 independent local growers to support their integrated hog‑feed model. As the business scaled from 700 to 16,000 acres and managed 100+ fields, BWT struggled to communicate field work, track progress and maintain efficient visibility using spreadsheets, phones and texts. In 2017 BWT adopted Conservis’s cloud‑based farm management system—most notably its Work Orders—to coordinate field plans, inputs and grower tasks.

Conservis delivered Work Orders, cloud recordkeeping and integration with John Deere Operations Center so BWT could send real‑time, two‑way instructions to growers, capture as‑applied and yield data, and bill precisely for seed, chemicals and services. The Conservis system gave BWT immediate field‑level visibility, stronger traceability for sustainability and audits, reduced back‑office reconciliation time, helped prevent input errors that had damaged crops, and enabled efficient management of dozens of concurrent planting and spraying tasks across 100+ fields and 15 growers.
