A Conservice ESG Case Study
Loews Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hospitality company operating 26 hotels, struggled with inaccurate utility data, manual and inefficient processes, penalty fees, and a fragmented approach from multiple providers. To support rapid portfolio expansion and sustainability goals, Loews engaged Conservice ESG for turnkey data management and sustainability solutions, including a cloud-based energy and utility management platform and energy procurement services.
Conservice ESG implemented a centralized platform with automated utility bill management, data tracking and analysis, and energy procurement, enabling streamlined reporting and benchmarking. As a result, Loews realized more than $2.4M in savings across 12 reporting initiatives, 100% data acquisition across 200+ utility accounts, a 3% decrease in kBtu per guest night amid growth in guests and F&B covers, $137,000 annual energy cost savings versus the price-to-compare, about $27,000 fewer penalty fees in 2016, payment-process time savings of 5–15 days, and an ENERGY STAR certification for Cabana Bay (score 76).
