Access Agriculture launches a 14-category offline learning app with Conovo Technologies

Conovo Technologies partnered with Access Agriculture, a non-profit organization in the agriculture sector, to address a significant challenge. The client needed to deliver high-quality agricultural training videos to farmers across the Global South, who often have basic phones, limited data plans, and patchy internet connectivity, in their own local languages.

To overcome this, Conovo Technologies designed and built a mobile app with an offline-first approach. The solution included downloadable video content, multilingual search, and a key feature for Bluetooth sharing that allows videos to be passed from phone to phone. This enabled the training to spread through communities without relying on internet access. As a result, Access Agriculture successfully put practical farming knowledge directly into farmers' hands, supporting a shift to organic and agroecology practices in regions where modern devices and reliable connectivity are scarce.
