Grove Medical Enhances Customer Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 and Ship-IT

Grove Medical, a distributor serving the elder care marketplace, needed a shipping system that could support future growth, improve freight cost management, and speed up order processing. The company already relied on Epicor Prophet 21 for wholesale distribution, and it wanted a shipping platform that could integrate directly with that system and apply customer-specific freight pricing automatically.

Grove Medical chose ConnectShip’s Ship-IT multi-carrier shipping technology, integrated with Prophet 21, Motorola finger scanners, and Zebra printers. With the new setup, Grove reduced labor by 1.5 full-time employees and improved processing speed from a goal of 10:1 to 12:1, while also auto-generating invoices, emails, and reports. ConnectShip helped Grove create customer-specific freight programs, customized packing lists, and reporting tools that support its hands-free shipping process.
