Star Textil, S.A., the company behind boboli, is a Barcelona-based children’s clothing retailer founded in 1964. As it expanded its network of more than 150 exclusive points of sale and 1,700 multibrand customer shops, it needed a way to automate consolidation of data for transborder shipments, reduce processing errors, and lower transportation costs without building its own compliance engine.

Star Textil worked with ConnectShip and UPS, which recommended ConnectShip Toolkit for its highly automated system. The solution automated label printing, enabled multi-package processing, reduced data and billing errors through built-in manifesting with automatic carrier uploads, and gave boboli a ready-to-go platform that could add carriers later through its component-based architecture.
