VIA Metropolitan Transit - Customer Case Study

VIA Metropolitan Transit sought to enhance the passenger experience at its bus stops by implementing the latest in digital signage technology. The Texas-based transit authority required a flexible and highly readable solution to broadcast real-time information. They partnered with Connectpoint and selected their Digital Bus Stop units to meet this challenge.

Connectpoint implemented a solution using their energy-efficient ePaper displays, primarily deploying over 50 CP-32 units for new BRT lines, along with a mixture of CP-10 and CP-13 models. The lightweight displays were easy to install and relocate with minimal disruption. The solution provided VIA with the flexibility to show next departure times, service alerts, maps, and custom messages. The results included improved information accessibility for riders, fulfilling VIA's goal of a better customer experience.
