Alexandria, Virginia's public bus system, DASH, partnered with Connectpoint to enhance rider experience by providing real-time information signage at key locations. They initially deployed a small number of Connectpoint Digital Bus Stop displays to meet this challenge, working with WMATA to improve service communication.
Based on overwhelmingly positive customer feedback and excellent product reliability, DASH rapidly scaled its deployment of Connectpoint units from five to over forty. The agency also utilized Connectpoint's CPAM digital asset management system to create and display custom real-time messages during service disruptions. This successful solution from Connectpoint led to a five-fold increase in deployments and provided DASH with a dependable, scalable tool for customer communication.
