Iperal Supermercati, an Italian supermarket chain, faced the challenge of manually inputting customer data into their Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, a time-consuming and inefficient process. Their data resided in a Microsoft SQL Server database, and they needed a way to automatically and instantly sync any changes. To solve this, they turned to vendor Connecting Software and its product Connect Bridge with the Dynamics 365 connector.
Connecting Software implemented a solution using Connect Bridge, which provided a Linked Server to transparently translate TSQL queries to the Dynamics web service. This allowed Iperal to use a database trigger for real-time updates, eliminating manual entry. The implementation was completed in just one week, successfully syncing hundreds of thousands of data rows and enabling the supermarket chain to offer quicker, more informed customer support.
