St. Vincent Carmel Hospital, part of the Ascension Health system, struggled with inefficient internal communications: a single employee was creating and broadcasting PowerPoint signs while important items like cafeteria menus, HR/benefit updates, staff recognition, time/date, weather, events and weather emergency notices were still being pushed via mass email. ConnectedSign created templated digital signage with dedicated areas for menus, department news, live newsfeeds, weather and time, pulling live data directly from existing Word documents and feeds to eliminate the PowerPoint step.
