Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham, MI engaged ConnectedSign to provide an interactive digital signage system after recent renovations left them needing an updated building map and a way to better showcase staff, the Board of Directors, ongoing events (including room rentals) and social media content. The library’s challenge was to present diverse, frequently changing information in a single, easy-to-use public display.

ConnectedSign implemented an interactive widget-style sign with a scrolling header, live Instagram feed, a large event banner and a filtered events section that pulls from an Excel spreadsheet, plus navigation buttons to a zoomable building map, a scrollable events page and a staff/board page with photos and contact details. ConnectedSign’s design and technical teams installed the system and continue to support the library; the result is streamlined event promotion and wayfinding and reduced manual updates thanks to automated Excel event feeds and live social integration.
