A Connecteam Case Study
SodexoMAGIC, the joint venture between Magic Johnson and global services leader Sodexo, provides facilities management and food services with nearly 5,000 employees across 1,649 sites. Facing a largely deskless workforce—only 30% had company email—and relying on bulletin boards, paper forms, fax and in-person training, they needed better communication, operational workflows and scalable training. Sodexo’s Innovation team partnered with Connecteam to deploy its all-in-one employee mobile app to address these gaps.
Connecteam delivered real-time push notifications, targeted group chat, digital forms and checklists, shift management, and a cloud-based knowledge center with e-learning. The impact was rapid and measurable: within two months there were over 1,000 mobile sessions per week for 350 users and, over time, 98.6% employee adoption; 215 push updates generated 3,328 likes/comments, chat was used 8,056 times, 72 workflows were submitted 4,292 times, and the knowledge center logged 8,256 entries—showing faster communication, improved reporting and scalable training enabled by Connecteam.
