Conifer Health Solutions implemented an automation solution that used CPT-code rules and bot technology to check payor portals and post authorization numbers directly into the HOST/EMR with no staff intervention. The results were strong: Tenet achieved a 93% automation rate post-go-live, averaged 1,802 automated accounts per week, reduced average weekly write-offs from $24,500 to $875, and significantly lowered automated denial amounts to $40K versus $202K for non-automated denials.
