A Conga Case Study
Mount Yale Capital Group, a financial services firm managing multiple accounts per person and household, struggled with paper-heavy document processes: staff created Word files, printed PDFs, mailed forms with sticky-note signature instructions, then tracked returns manually. The workflow produced many document versions, was unsearchable, time-consuming, and made key tasks—like populating forms from banking data and tracking paperwork—effectively unattainable.
By implementing Conga Composer, Grid, and Sign within Salesforce, Mount Yale automated pre-populated templates, centralized data into a single record of truth, enabled quick searches, and supported electronic signatures in multiple locations. The change greatly sped document generation and retrieval, improved transparency and tracking, and boosted e-signatures more than tenfold (from 16 in 2019 to 165 in 2020).
