Homeless Link streamlines its COVID-19 Homelessness Response Fund with Conga

Homeless Link, a membership charity supporting homelessness services in England, needed to quickly distribute £6 million in emergency COVID-19 funding to small and medium-sized organisations while working remotely. The team had to build an online portal fast, process grant applications, and ensure all decisions and documents were compliant for future government audits. Conga helped Homeless Link manage this urgent grants programme on the Salesforce platform.

Using Conga Composer, Conga Batch, and Conga Sign, Homeless Link automated application summaries, grant offers, legal agreements, and e-signatures for successful grantees. Conga enabled the charity to process 300 applications and assessments in just four weeks and award 133 emergency grants, helping distribute more than £6 million to frontline homelessness charities; a later funding round added another £5.5 million and 34 more grants.
