In-Situ, a 35+-year leader in on-site water monitoring instruments and environmental software, needed a better way to manage sales priorities as its sales force grew. The native Salesforce Forecast tab was slow and awkward—requiring clicks into individual Opportunities, offering poor team-level pipeline visibility, forcing other teams to re-enter data for reports, and causing early-stage deals to fall through the cracks.
Working with Conga Services, In-Situ added Conga Grid to Salesforce, deploying pre-set, filterable grids and spreadsheet-like inline editing to give users fast, consolidated pipeline views. Forecast reporting time was cut in half, managers gained deep, re-segmentable views (by territory, deal size, close date), collaboration improved across the company, and the team achieved 10% pipeline accuracy while reducing lost Opportunities and streamlining Opportunity-related workflows.
