Trust Bank Delivers Customer-First, Digital Banking with Confluent

Trust Bank, Singapore’s digitally-native bank launched in 2022, faced the challenge of building a secure, cloud‑native platform that delivers real‑time customer experiences, breaks down data silos, and meets strict financial governance requirements. To achieve this, Trust Bank selected Confluent and its data streaming platform (including Confluent for Kubernetes and Schema Registry) to power an event‑driven, modular banking architecture integrated with the FairPrice Group ecosystem.

Confluent implemented a streaming backbone that lets teams produce, share, and consume self‑service real‑time data products, with built‑in governance, connectors, Schema Registry and Kubernetes support. As a result, Trust Bank gained a scalable, resilient platform (clusters deploy in minutes), reduced operational complexity and dependence on Kafka specialists, met regulatory requirements through embedded governance, and lowered total cost of ownership while accelerating real‑time innovation and customer experiences.
