Roosevelt Solutions LLC, working with Delta Dental, needed to modernize and productize a claims processing and benefits administration platform centered on BRIDE, a business-rule engine that enables non-developers to auto-adjudicate claims for more than 20 million members. To achieve real-time processing, scalability, and a move away from a legacy monolith, they partnered with Confluent and its data-streaming platform (Kafka/Confluent-powered streaming and related services).

Confluent delivered an event-driven, multi-cloud streaming architecture that decoupled BRIDE from the core system, enabled change-data-capture pipelines, Elasticsearch indexing, and near‑real‑time rule deployment across Azure, AWS, and GCP. As a result, Confluent helped Roosevelt achieve industry-leading outcomes—auto-adjudication rates rising to over 95% (from under 80%), elimination of day‑long latencies, hundreds of millions in treatment cost savings, and faster, lower-risk moves to microservices and continuous improvement.
