The wealth management division of a Top 20 Global Bank engaged Risk Focus to modernize its proprietary order management system. Facing requirements for ≥250 orders/sec with linear scaling, real‑time multi‑region replication, point‑in‑time recovery, strict message sequencing, and elimination of single points of failure, the client selected Risk Focus to implement a Kafka‑based streaming platform (in collaboration with Confluent).

Risk Focus delivered a Kafka‑centric, multi‑region Active‑Active‑Active architecture using Confluent reference designs, automated deployments with Ansible, Confluent Control Center monitoring, and a microservices order‑entry pipeline. Risk Focus validated the design via POC and fault testing—proving ≥250 orders/sec throughput, survivability of a data‑center outage without message loss, support for the client’s full product line, and on‑time, on‑budget delivery of a highly available, fault‑tolerant order management system.
