MPL Enhances Trust and Security of the Platform with Real-Time Data Streaming from Confluent

MPL, the mobile eSports and digital gaming platform with over 90 million registered users, needed to replace slow, batch-based data pipelines with a real-time data platform to improve fraud prevention, decision-making, and personalized user experiences. To address this challenge, MPL worked with Confluent and its fully managed Kafka solution to support real-time access across gameplay, app activity, and authorization data.

With Confluent, MPL built real-time streaming pipelines that helped identify fraudulent users, block suspicious transactions, and deliver tailored onboarding and offers to players. The results included $35K in monthly savings, improved user engagement and retention, and a safer, more trusted platform for gamers.
