A Confluent Case Study
Judo Bank, an Australian challenger bank focused on SME lending, needed to replace fragile point-to-point integrations and re-architect its core lending and CRM systems to support a modern, event-driven platform. To achieve this, Judo engaged Confluent and adopted Confluent Cloud (backed by Apache Kafka) to unify data flows and enable a new CRM and loan origination capability.
Confluent implemented a private Confluent Cloud cluster with managed AWS connectors to bi-directionally sync the CRM, loan origination system, and core banking, with integration support from partner Itoc. The result was a consistent, unified service fabric that cut synchronization time from hours to seconds, improved data availability and time to market, and provided stronger support for microservices and faster releases.
