How One Mount Group Grew Vietnam’s Largest Tech Ecosystem on Confluent

One Mount Group, a Hanoi-based technology conglomerate behind VinID, VinShop and OneHousing, faced growing pain from legacy platforms as it scaled three distinct products and a microservices architecture. The company needed a scalable, multi-region messaging and change-data-capture solution that met Vietnamese data-privacy and encryption requirements while addressing limited internal resources. Using Confluent Platform (self-managed on Google Cloud) plus Kafka Connect and Schema Registry, One Mount implemented a resilient pub/sub payment gateway and CDC pipelines from MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAP and Salesforce into its data lakes and warehouses.
