DriveCentric Builds Next-Generation Architecture for CRM with Confluent

DriveCentric, an automotive CRM provider, faced scalability limits in its legacy multilayered web application as demand and remote sales increased. To modernize and support rapid growth, DriveCentric partnered with Confluent, adopting Confluent Cloud and Kafka-based tooling (including the Kafka.NET client) to move from data-at-rest to an event-driven, microservices-oriented architecture.

Confluent implemented a managed, event-streaming backbone that let DriveCentric incrementally replace core features with microservices; the first feature rollout used Confluent to publish and consume customer access events. The result: more than a tenfold increase in message volume handled, seamless processing of millions of messages without Confluent becoming a bottleneck, simplified development and production support, and assured scalability for peak workloads — enabling DriveCentric teams to focus on features and faster parallel development.
