ACERTUS Integrates Real-Time Data Across Three Distinct Businesses with Confluent Cloud

ACERTUS, a North American automotive logistics provider operating three distinct business units (Car Haul, Drive Away, and Title & Registration), faced fragmented systems from acquisitions that forced manual, error-prone handoffs and slow reporting. To achieve real-time, self-service access to customer, vehicle, and transit data, ACERTUS evaluated and adopted Confluent—leveraging Confluent Cloud (with connectors, ksqlDB, and Schema Registry) to integrate upstream and downstream systems across the company.

Using Confluent, ACERTUS built streaming data pipelines and an event-driven microservices architecture that eliminated batch bottlenecks, enabled instant VIN de-duplication and real-time notifications, and centralized data into Snowflake for analytics. Confluent’s managed platform and pre-built connectors freed FTEs from running Kafka or building connectors, lowered TCO, improved team agility, and helped generate more than $10 million in new revenue in the first year while delivering additional millions in cost savings and higher profit margins.
