Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, founded in 1933 and now a global manufacturer of dry bulk material handling equipment with over 100 employees, sells through inside sales, manufacturers’ reps and a direct sales force. Rapid product and channel growth produced inconsistent, incomplete quotes across disparate systems, forcing manual checks, losing critical application data and undermining sales tracking and forecasting.
Meyer & Sons implemented Configure One’s web-based Concept, which captured pricing rules, enforced required application data and guided option selection. Rolled out to 70–80 users and all reps, Concept standardized outputs, streamlined quote-to-order processing (with planned Syteline ERP integration), produced about 3,500 quotes in six months and cut quote production time by 75% while improving accuracy and forecasting.
