Viessmann, a global manufacturer of heating, industrial and refrigeration systems headquartered in Allendorf (Eder), Germany, faced growing quoting complexity as its wide partner network and multiple price lists made it hard for partners to match customer needs to the right product and price. Working with Configit, Viessmann implemented the Sales Configurator “Quote Assist,” integrating Configit’s Configuration Engine into its SAP environment to provide guided configuration and technical validation. The solution enabled partners to configure complete, technically valid heating systems quickly, reducing errors and product complexity while boosting efficiency, cross‑selling opportunities, customer satisfaction and partner retention.
