Comverge needed a way to work with Conga Composer documents on an iPad, but standard iPad functionality did not include a document editor compatible with merged documents. It also could not upload edited files back into Chatter Feeds from the iPad.

Configero addressed the workflow by using Safari on the iPad to generate a merged Conga Composer document, opening it in Office² HD for editing, and then sending it back to the Salesforce record through Email2Chatter. The setup boosted productivity for field reps by enabling on-demand document generation and editing on the iPad, while also creating instant collaboration between field and back-office users.
