Robin Hood Energy, the not-for-profit energy supplier owned by Nottingham City Council, needed help contacting former Ebico customers who had not opted in to a switch after their supply moved from SSE. They engaged Confero to support follow-up calling and reactivate these dormant customers with information about the benefits of switching.
Confero called through more than 6,500 customers who had not responded to earlier communications and used its existing knowledge of the client’s CRM system to quickly set up a smooth switching process. The campaign successfully converted over 32% of the contacted customers to Robin Hood Energy, while also enabling paperless direct debits over the phone to improve the customer experience and reduce resource requirements.
