World Leading Logistics Provider lacked real-time visibility into container locations and statuses across numerous ocean carriers and needed automated ingestion and translation of EDI 312 and EDI 315 messages into its internal format. To address this, the customer selected coneksion’s integration platform as a service (iPaaS) to provide carrier connectivity and message transformation.

coneksion implemented an end-to-end iPaaS workflow that receives carrier EDI 312/315 messages, issues EDI 997 acknowledgements, translates and enriches messages using a daily Master Data CSV (with a 3-day retry for missing mandatory fields), validates data, and delivers cleaned files to the customer’s FTP. The solution automated real-time shipment status updates, cut manual data-entry effort, enabled full visibility across ocean freight, improved order fulfillment and productivity, and provided more reliable data for forecasting and planning.
