A coneksion Case Study
Handy, a national home‑services platform, faced an unscalable challenge: exchanging common EDI transactions (850, 810, 856, 860) with hundreds of retail partners that each use different EDI variants and transport protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN). To avoid rebuilding integrations in‑house for every retailer, Handy selected coneksion and its fully managed integration service built on a cloud iPaaS to solve the API–EDI connectivity problem.
coneksion implemented a universal, fully managed data integration layer (iPaaS) between Handy’s platform and its retail network, converting diverse EDI feeds into APIs and handling all transport protocols and partner-specific variations. The coneksion service enabled automation and faster, scalable partner onboarding while reducing upfront engineering costs—moving Handy to a predictable subscription model so internal teams can focus on product development and growth.
